The SP1014 by Sanj Patel and Chico Rivas is a very special cigar exclusive to Sanj’s Smoke Shop in Bloomfield, NJ… UNTIL NOW! There are three sizes available: robusto, toro and lancero, all at what Sanj calls “1992 prices” because this is actually what his original SP1014 cost back in 1992! Sanj Patel worked on this cigar with master blender Chico Rivas out of the Dominican Republic. The blend is a Dominican Corojo puro, and all of these cigars are draw tested and weighed on a gram scale to make sure that the right amount of tobacco is in each cigar – the way cigars ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DONE. All three of the sizes have this classic pigtailed end cap and a closed foot. All the tobaccos in the cigar are aged and all of the cigars after being rolled have sat for a year before you even get to touch them, so solid age on these. Every single aspect and detail about this project was well done for the REAL cigar smoker. The unique band design was created by Mario Pena, who’s a known local artist and cigar lover.

$9 Lancero full of flavor and with great construction. Gorgeous wrapper. I see why the SP1014s hurt some feelings in the industry, this Lancero punches way above its price. Easily worth double. Buy them.

One of the best cigars I’ve ever smoked for under $10. I never even thought about smoking Lanceros but these are very good. I’m usually a Toro guy but these seem even better! It has excellent construction and burns perfectly.
